When you order or book an event from EllieJades Kitchen, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions outlined below.
Bookings
Please confirm the details of your booking no later than 2 weeks prior to your event- including the date of your event, final number of guests, the menu and any allergens.
We will always work with you to accommodate any changes but cannot guarantee this.
A confirmation email will be sent to you 7 days prior of your event date confirming the location, time, menu and allergens. Any specific requests made by you will also be confirmed at this time. Please highlight any amendments at this time. No reply to this email will be taken as confirmation that the content is correct.
Please note: No tablecloths, plates or utensils will be provided unless previously agreed.
Deposits
Your booking is confirmed when a 50% deposit has been paid. Without this deposit we are unable to hold the date and time.
Refunds
If you would like to cancel your event, we do not offer refunds within 14 days prior of your event. Any changes to events outside this 14-day period will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
Please raise any concerns with our service within 2 hours of delivery or collection.
We do not accept returns.
Food Safety
The food prepared in our 5-star kitchen is immediately chilled and delivered in a refrigerated van. Cold food must be refrigerated after four hours.
If we staff your event we will manage all food hygiene. If we do not staff your event, you are responsible for all food delivered. We will leave you with instructions on how to manage this.
Allergens
Whilst we try to decrease the risk of allergen contamination, please be aware that all items are prepared in an environment containing all allergens, therefore there may be a risk of cross contamination.
All dishes are presented with an allergen card showing which allergens are present.
Collections
If you have booked a collection slot please ensure you arrive on time. Depending on our schedule the kitchen may be unmanned outside of this time so it is important you keep us updated with any unforeseen changes or delays. We will do our best to accommodate you although this may not always be possible. We do not offer refunds if you are 15 minutes outside your delivery slot or miss your collection time.
Deliveries
Orders under £250.00 will be charged with a £50 delivery fee, and orders under £400 with a £25 delivery fee.
Set Ups
If you have booked a Graze Table set up, Hot Food or BBQ please ensure there is easy access to the venue/location, with facilities including hand washing.
Clear Up & Collections
We aim to collect all dishes & non-disposable platters within a 24-48 hour period from the time of your event. Any breakages of dishes/platters/props are charged at £20 per item.
We do not take any rubbish/waste away with us.
Hot Food
Chafing dishes are used to keep the food hot. The chafing gel used is an open flame therefore please check that the venue allows. It is your responsibility for the safety of guests around the flames once the food has been set up and we have departed the venue.
Hot Food can be kept out for up to 2 hours in the chafing dishes. If you have booked an event without staff, this falls under your responsibility. EllieJades Kitchen will not be responsible for any adverse events post this period.
BBQ
If the weather permits onsite grilling, we will grill the BBQ items at your desired event location.
As we grill on a coal BBQ, food is served in stages. Once you have booked a specific time for the BBQ food to start service, we can only delay this within 30 minutes of the agreed time. Any further delay in timings may cause a delay in food service.
In the event of mild weather, we will bring a gazebo to grill under. In the case of extreme changes in weather, we deal with each event on a case-by-case basis, whether moving the event date, changing the service or amending the BBQ service. This will be discussed with you (the client) before any changes are made.
Staffing
Please allow 1 months notice if you would like us to staff your event.
Our staff will not serve food that we have not cooked or supplied as we are unable to ensure the safety, allergens and hygiene of the food.
